Voicemail

Voicemail is a valuable resource to improve communication and enhance productivity. Your calls are answered around the clock. If you’re not available, callers can leave a personal message in your mailbox. You can access your mailbox at any time from any touchtone phone.

Currently, the monthly charge for departmental voicemail is $4.00 per line with a $20.00 one-time charge for activation. If you would like to request voicemail please fill out the Voicemail Request Form and forward it to the Telecommunications Department, 1003 Rockwell Hall. You may also use our online request form.

Sample Greetings:

"Hi you have reached the desk of (name). I will be in the office, however, I am either on the phone or away from my desk at this time. At the sound of the tone, please leave me a detailed message along with your name and number so I can return your call. Thank You."

"Hi this is (name). You have reached my voice mail. I am unable to respond to your message, as I will be out of the office from January 7th, returning January 20th. Please leave a brief message. Thank you for calling."
