Cellular Phones, Pagers, and Calling Cards

CELLULAR TELEPHONE SERVICES

Departments interested in acquiring cellular telephone services for business use must have a Request for Departmental Cellular Phone properly completed and signed by the appropriate Vice President for approval. The latest Cingular rates and phone information can be obtained by calling Telecommunications at x5423.

PAGERS

Telecommunications made arrangements with Arch Wireless http://www.archwireless.com to service our University. Please notify Telecommunications if your department is looking for new service or when replacing a pager because of failure to perform.

CALLING CARDS:

Calling Cards are offered through Telecommunications to offices who need long distance calling privileges away from their office telephone. Written request for calling cards may be submitted to the Telecommunications Department, noting the department name, employee name and budget number to be charged for the services. To request a calling card, please call Telecommunications or fill out the Calling Card Form.
